Welcome to My Practice

Taking the first step toward professional counseling requires courage and insight. We live in extraordinarily challenging times, and you are not alone in feeling anxious or overwhelmed. My mission is to build strong families and resilient children by improving mental, emotional, and relational health.

I provide a calm, nurturing, and reassuring environment where children, young adults, and parents can develop the tools to navigate life's stressors with confidence.

Why Work With Me?

  • 20+ Years of Experience: I have spent over two decades supporting individuals and families across private practice, school settings, and community agencies.

  • Tailored, Evidence-Based Care: No two families are alike. We will collaborate to design a custom treatment plan that honors your family's unique strengths using proven therapeutic methods.

  • Collaborative Approach: With your permission, I consult with the other important professionals in your child's life (teachers, doctors, etc.) to ensure comprehensive, well-rounded care.

  • Firsthand Understanding: As a parent of four myself, I understand firsthand how overwhelming, rewarding, and complex parenting can be.

Areas of Expertise

I specialize in supporting children, young adults, and families navigating a wide range of developmental and mental health challenges, including:

  • Mental Health Conditions: Childhood anxiety and depression, ADHD, trauma, and behaviors accompanying the autism spectrum.

  • Life Transitions & Family Dynamics: Grief, illness, separation, divorce, blended family dynamics, and effective parenting strategies from newborns to young adults.

  • Social & School Stressors: Bullying, school resistance, identity, and sexuality.
